things i dont understand

my friend found this glorious blog today where this girl finds something almost every day that she doesn't understand and doesn't explain... (sounds kind of lame the way i explained it but it's funny... occationally)

so in avoidance of writing my paper which needs to get done asap i shall also make a list of things i don't understand (but unlike the girl in the "things i don't understand" blog ... i like discussing these things):

- why they are called bangs? who's idea was that?
- why art always has to mean something? Can it just exist for the sake of the process behind it?
- pot stickers...
- kittens inspired by kittens (youtube it)
- my irrational fear of mischa barton being under my bed (the Sixth Sense) causing me to purchase a night light... but in my imagination it's never little mischa who is trying to kill me or something... it's adult sized mischa (even scarier)
- the allure of themed parties ... because you can't wear dresses with big sleeves and bows and sequins to just any party
- my roommate's theory on kids being like drunk people
